The Africa Fairtrade Convention

Fairtrade Africa is member of the wider International Fairtrade movement. We represent Fairtrade certified producers in Africa and the Middle East producing traditional export commodities such as coffee, cocoa, tea, cotton, bananas, mango and non-traditional commodities including shea butter and rooibos tea.

We represent over 1,050,000 producers across 33 countries in Africa

About the event

Africa Fairtrade convention (AFC) is a Flagship event organized by Fairtrade Africa (FTA). AFC is a gathering of producers, traders, partner organizations, Fairtrade movement, government, policy makers among other stakeholders.

The main objective is to discuss improvement of value chains, trade relations, and conditions which translate to improved livelihoods for farmers and workers in Africa.
